Introducing GitShine

Your GitHub profile is often the first thing recruiters, collaborators, and curious visitors look at — and the contribution graph is the first thing they see. GitShine helps you keep it active, on your terms.

What GitShine does

GitShine creates commits on repositories you own and choose, on a schedule you control:

• Pick your repos. Connect your GitHub account and select which repositories GitShine should keep active.
• Set the pace. Choose how many commits per day you want — a fixed number, or a randomized cadence for a more natural-looking graph.
• Customize the messages. Use your own list of commit messages, let an AI write context-aware ones based on your repository, or fall back to sensible defaults.
• Stay in control. Pause or resume any repo with one click, and watch your commit counters from the dashboard.

Under the hood, GitShine creates empty commits through the GitHub API — it never clones your code, never modifies your files, and your OAuth token is encrypted at rest with AES-256-GCM.

Getting started

1. Sign in with your email or GitHub account.
2. Connect GitHub from the dashboard.
3. Add a repository, pick your commits per day, and flip it to active.

That's it — GitShine takes care of the rest, every day.
